A game by Twice Circled, the creator of Big Pharma. Megaquarium follows in the footsteps of classic theme park management tycoon games and adds an aquatic spin. The game itself is built in Unity, as a 2.5D isometric sandbox game. I have been following the game since its early days as an early access release, and I’ve been heavily involved within the modding community ever since. We worked closely with Tim Wicksteed, of Twice Circled, to develop the moddable, and extensible side of the game. What started as three enthusiastic developers passing proof of concept mods to each other over Discord, to manually install into the game, has now become a whole community, with thousands of mods available for one-click install, in Steam Workshop. It’s brought a whole new dimension to the game, and the modding community has helped to drive the development of the game onwards.

Includes a number of items designed to control access for guests, throughout the aquarium. Guest doors, construction barriers, archways, windows, and more.

Adds a number of items to the game to give designers plenty of options for guest seating areas. Leather sofas, barrels, picnic tables, park benches, and more.

Adds a number of statues to the game, which can be used for decoration both inside, and outside of the tanks. From Mayan busts, to swimming dolphins, there is a range of statues for different themes.

Adds a number of topiary bushes and trees to the game, to be used as decoration within the aquarium. While they will not fit within tanks as aquascaping, a line of box wood spiral trees down the side of a pathway can make all the difference to your aquarium.

Adds a series of heaters, chillers, pumps, auto-feeders, and acid/alkaline generators to the game. There are five tiers of heaters and chillers, all with unique qualities; and three tiers of pumps, which become landmarks for guests in their own right.
